How many lamps can you connect to one power supply?
For our linear LED lamps, the best choice is a 100W / 24V power supply, which allows safe connection of:
• up to 10 lamps of 150 cm (9W)
• up to 18 lamps of 80 cm (5W)
• or a combination such as 6 × 150 cm + 6 × 80 cm
Remember to leave a 10–20% power reserve to avoid overloading the power supply and to extend the overall lifespan of the installation.
Have more lamps? Simply add another power supply and split the installation into separate sections.
LED Lamp Installation in Fence Post
- Place the lamp into the post profile – slide it from the top into the dedicated slot in the post (designed for lamps or trims)
- Route the wires from the lamp – feed them inside the post or through the hole at the base
- Connect the lamp to the power supply (see instructions below)
- Place the power supply in a dry location (e.g. sealed box, technical enclosure)
- Connect the power supply and test:
- After connecting the lamp and 230V power – the lamp should light up.
- Check for proper operation – no flickering, even illumination.
Connecting a Linear LED Lamp to 100W 24V Power Supply
Prepare the components:
- Linear LED lamp (24V DC)
- 100W / 24V DC power supply
- 230V power cable (with plug or for terminal box)
Connect 230V to the power supply input (“INPUT”):
- L (live) – brown wire
- N (neutral) – blue wire
- ⏚ (earth / PE) – yellow-green wire
Ensure the wires are properly twisted and securely fastened in the terminal block.
Connect the lamp to the power supply output (“OUTPUT”):
- V+ – red wire from the lamp (positive)
- V– – black wire from the lamp (negative)
- If the power supply has 2 pairs of V+ and V–, you can use either one.
Check the connections:
- Ensure all screws are securely tightened.
- Make sure the polarity is correct (red to V+, black to V–).
Connect the power supply to 230V:
- Plug it into a socket or connect the cable to the mains.
- The lamp should light up after a moment.
Important notes:
- The power supply is not waterproof – install it in a dry location or in a sealed enclosure.
- Do not work with live current – always disconnect the power first.
- Do not exceed the power supply’s maximum load – leave at least 10–20% power reserve.
