How many lamps can you connect

How many lamps can you connect to one power supply?

A 100W power supply can power:

  • up to 10 lamps of 150 cm (9W)
  • or up to 18 lamps of 80 cm (5W)
  • or a combination, e.g. 6 × 150 cm + 6 × 80 cm

Always leave a power margin – at least 10–20% – to ensure the power supply operates without overload and delivers long-term, reliable performance.

If you plan to use more lamps, add another power supply and divide the installation into sections.

Installation

Installation of LED Lamp in Fence Post

  1. Insert the lamp into the post profile – slide the lamp from the top into the dedicated slot in the post (designed for mounting lamps or trims)
  2. Route the cables from the lamp – guide them inside the post or through the hole at the base
  3. Connect the lamp to the power supply (see instructions below)
  4. Place the power supply in a dry location (e.g. sealed box, technical enclosure)
  5. Connect the power supply and test:
    • Once the lamp and 230V power are connected, the lamp should light up.
    • Check correct operation – no flickering, even illumination.

Connecting a Linear LED Lamp to 100W 24V Power Supply

Prepare the components:

  • Linear LED lamp (24V DC)
  • 100W / 24V DC power supply
  • 230V power cable (with plug or for electrical box connection)

Connect 230V to the power supply input (“INPUT”):

  • L (live) – brown wire
  • N (neutral) – blue wire
  • ⏚ (earth / PE) – yellow-green wire

Ensure that the wires are properly secured and tightened in the terminal block.

Connect the lamp to the power supply output (“OUTPUT”):

  • V+ – red wire from lamp (positive)
  • V– – black wire from lamp (negative)
  • If the power supply has 2 pairs of V+ and V–, you can use either pair.

Check all connections:

  • Ensure all screws are firmly tightened.
  • Ensure correct polarity (red to V+, black to V–).

Connect the power supply to 230V:

  • Plug into a socket or wire into the electrical system.
  • The lamp should light up after a moment.

Important Notes:

  • The power supply is not waterproof – install it in a dry location or sealed enclosure.
  • Do not work with live power – always disconnect before servicing.
  • Do not exceed the power supply's maximum output – always leave at least 10–20% power reserve.
