Our store has recently introduced a new product: PVC decking boards in four colors and the most popular lengths – 3.5 and 4 meters. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, so when adding new products to our assortment, we always consider your questions and suggestions.
What is PVC?
So, what exactly are PVC boards? PVC boards refer to a blend of wood flour and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Our PVC composite boards consist of 45% wood flour, 51.5% polyvinyl chloride, and 3.5% enriching additives. This specific combination and ratio provide a board with the combined benefits of wood and polymer.
Boards labeled PCV, PVC, or PCW?
The correct abbreviations are PVC and PCW. PVC comes from the English term for the chemical compound, polyvinyl chloride, while PCW is the Polish abbreviation, polichlorek winylu. The abbreviation PCV is incorrect, but it has become widely used only in Poland. It’s rare to encounter the correct version, even in specialized stores that sell “PCV” (PVC) boards.
Advantages of PVC Composite Decking Boards
PVC boards are composite boards, and many of their advantages come directly from their composition and structure:
- Resistance to external factors (UV radiation, moisture, corrosion, mold, fungi, and other atmospheric and mechanical factors)
- No need for maintenance or painting
- Resistance to low and high temperatures
- Anti-slip surface
- Wear resistance
Additionally, the developed installation system makes it truly simple, resulting in a stable, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing finish.
PVC Boards at Liderwood
Four colors of boards are available to choose from:

The boards are double-grooved: one side has narrow grooves, while the other features wide grooves. You can install them with either side facing up, depending on your preference. Depending on the selected shade and groove width, the created space will stand out in its own unique way. You can also order samples to select the right board color for your project. The PVC boards available at Liderwood are manufactured in Poland. They are suitable not only for building decks and balconies but also for docks, gazebos, and pool surrounds.
